Project Manager for the Infrastructure Area of Odense Letbane Phase 2

Do you want to help develop, plan and realise the next phase of Odense Light Rail and make your mark on the project throughout its life?

Odense Light Rail faces an exciting development with Phase 2. Therefore we are seeking an experienced project manager for the infrastructure area who can contribute to the project's development from the early planning and design phases and on into execution, testing and commissioning. The role reports to Head of Infrastructure and will be a central part of the construction organization for Light Rail Phase 2.

As a project manager you will be part of the organization behind Odense Light Rail's Phase 2, working on the development of Odense Light Rail's next phase. The project is in the initial phase, where many significant decisions and collaborations must be established, and the role is therefore, from the start, involved in strategic as well as operational decisions.

The position is characterized by the fact that the responsibility and content develop over time.

In the early phases there will be focus on planning, interface management, design, regulatory matters and management of advisors. Later the role will to a greater extent include execution and commissioning.

You will become part of a project organization under development, where we work closely together, have short decision paths and continuously celebrate our successes and milestones.

About the job

Your tasks will, depending on your competencies, include

• Establish collaboration with pipeline owners and coordinate pipe/cable relocations
• Establish interface agreements as well as management and follow-up with relevant interface parties, e.g. Future of Vollsmose
• Contribute to the execution of the tender of advisory services
• Manage and follow up on collaboration with external consultants
• Support and drive design of road and light rail facilities
• Ensure coordination between the project's many stakeholders
• Support management of time, economy and risks

The role follows the project's development through several of its phases, and the tasks will therefore change in character as the project moves toward testing and commissioning. Your central role in the early construction organization means you are also expected to contribute to developing the organization and onboarding new colleagues.

About you

We envisage that you have a relevant technical education and minimum 10 years of relevant experience with project management in either rail, road or construction projects.

Additionally you have

• Experience with managing advisors and complex stakeholders
• Experience from consultant, contractor or client side
• A structured approach to your work and ability to navigate between technology, economy, schedules and collaboration relations
• Clear and trust-building communication skills
• The ability to handle different stakeholders and perspectives

The practical

The application deadline is Sunday 23 November.

We expect to hold first interviews in week 49 and second interviews in week 51. Candidates proceeding to the second interview round will be asked to complete a personality profile.

Expected start date is 1 February 2027.
