Project Manager for Verdo Varme Randers

Verdo supplies 40,000 Randers residents with heat year-round. We expand our network by converting from natural gas to district heating, by construction developments and by expanding our district heating network to new areas. We have plenty of exciting projects and therefore we are seeking a project manager.

Verdo Varme in Randers consists of two departments, a planning and construction department, which in addition to the above also looks into the heat of the future. It is the department this position belongs to, and here we are 12 colleagues, and an operations department, which ensures that the operation of district heating in Randers runs optimally, we have 17 colleagues.

The tasks

You will, once you have been briefed in our ways, come to be responsible for carrying out

• Construction developments, where we work to bring many new customers onto our district heating network
• Conversions from natural gas to district heating in existing areas
• Construction projects such as expanding our supply area
• Contributions to the development and adaptation of the project model
• Preparation of KLS materials and initiation of initiatives

The main task of project management in construction development and new construction will include contact with suppliers, construction management, advisors and customers; you will ensure excavation permits, traffic control plans, authority permits, material orders, task management for external contractors and district heating fitters.

We also look into new areas for heat supply, and you may also become involved in projects such as e.g. surplus heat from other production.

Who are you?

We see you as a mechanical engineer, engineer or other relevant, and it is fine with a craft background. You are passionate about project management and are innovative in your thinking. You have a good eye for detail and you are ready to take the contact and lead when something needs to be done. You are flexible, and you will be comfortable with being a roaming project manager, i.e., stepping into an existing project when the need arises.
