About the job

Do you want to use your technical expertise and project management experience to shape the future of wastewater and drinking water supply on Lolland?

At Lolland Forsyning you will have the opportunity to work on projects already while possibilities are being explored, solutions take shape, and the foundation for major decisions is created.

As a project manager you will be a central driving force in planning in both the wastewater and drinking water areas. You work closely with colleagues, authorities, consultants and other partners and help translate needs, analyses and regulatory requirements into solutions that can be realized.

This means that you will have the opportunity to put your professional imprint on projects that matter for both security of supply, the environment, climate adaptation and the long-term development on Lolland.

Your tasks

You will be responsible for planning projects from the initial idea and needs clarification to a solid basis for decisions and transfer to plant, operation or the next project phase.

In the wastewater sector your projects can involve, among other things, capacity, networks, treatment plants and future supply structure. In the drinking water sector it can be water resources, abstraction, waterworks and the distribution network. At the same time you will work across with strategic analyses and needs that arise in connection with urban and business development and regulatory requirements.

You will, among other things, be expected to

  • lead planning projects in the wastewater and drinking water area
  • translate analyses and needs into proposed solutions and strong basis for decisions
  • coordinate contributions from internal professional resources, consultants, authorities and partners
  • ensure progress with a view to time, economy, quality and risks
  • facilitate project meetings, workshops and cross-disciplinary clarifications
  • prepare project foundations, schedules, budgets, decision proposals and status reporting
  • contribute to strategic planning and development of sustainable solutions
  • create coherence between projects, authority processes, municipal planning and other supply sectors
  • contribute to prioritization, portfolio overview and learning across projects.

Who are you?

You have a relevant technical education, for example as an engineer or equivalent, and a minimum of five years' experience with high-level planning and regulatory work from, for example, the consulting industry, a municipality or a utility company. You also have experience with project management, project control or coordination of technical planning tasks.

You have professional knowledge of both wastewater and drinking water areas and understand the connection between supply planning, regulatory processes and construction projects. Your strongest professional weight may lie within one area. The most important is that you have the desire and the prerequisites to work with both.

In the role you will need to be able to create structure and direction, even when a project involves many disciplines and stakeholders. You can bring different perspectives to the table, translate them into concrete decisions and move the project forward. At the same time you thrive with the span between strategic analyses, practical project follow-up and the ad hoc tasks that naturally arise along the way.

You communicate clearly and professionally in Danish, both in writing and orally.
