Psychologist for Early Intervention – maternity leave cover (30-37 hours per week)

We are seeking a psychologist for 30-37 hours per week for a maternity leave replacement in Sundhedscenter Hjørring – Borgersundhed as soon as possible or no later than 1 December 2026.

About the position

Sundhedscenter Hjørring is the Municipality of Hjørring's central actor in health promotion and prevention. We work to strengthen health among citizens and employees through professionally strong and holistic interventions.

In Early Intervention we collaborate with employees who are on sick leave or at risk of sick leave.

The aim is to prevent long-term sickness absence and strengthen possibilities for retention and return to work.

The initiative is carried out by an interdisciplinary team consisting of retention consultants from the Job Center, nurses, physiotherapists and psychologists from Sundhedscenter Hjørring.

The team works with a basis in the third wave of cognitive behavioral therapy, particularly ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and mindfulness.

Your tasks

As a psychologist in Early Intervention you will, among other things

• Conduct psychological assessments of the individual employee's situation
• Carry out shorter individual counseling trajectories (up to 4-5 sessions)
• Assess and advise on psychological accommodations in relation to return to work
• Offer sparring and support to employees on sick leave
• Actively participate in the interdisciplinary collaboration around the pathways
• Plan and conduct group programs for employees with stress-related challenges

We are looking for a colleague who

• Holds a cand.psych. degree.
• Would preferably have experience from a municipal organization or another public workplace
• Has experience with short-term interventions and advisory conversations
• Thrives in interdisciplinary collaboration and values different professional perspectives
• Communicates confidently and professionally both verbally and in writing
• Would preferably have experience facilitating group programs
• Works independently and can plan own tasks
• Thrives in a daily life characterized by development and change
• Has good IT skills at user level
