About the tasks

You will become part of the Road & Sewage service area, where we are known for delivering quality on time. With us you will have colleagues who prioritise collaboration, knowledge sharing and an engaged professional community.

As a senior road engineer you will manage design and project management and function as an active professional sparring partner in the team, where there is work with design and execution of smaller and medium-sized road projects.

You will be tasked with.

• project management and design of roads and paths in small and medium-sized projects
• calculation of quantities and descriptions according to applicable standards
• preparation of tender material for clients
• technical supervision and construction management in the execution phase
• collaboration with AFRY's international design center in Noida, India.

You will also contribute to further development of tools and methods and engage in close professional collaboration with the department head and the other professional areas in AFRY. You will have plenty of skilled colleagues, professional challenges and influence.

Qualifications

About you

We are looking for someone who is open to the role of project manager and professional sparring partner – and who can keep an overview, pull the threads together and make things happen across disciplines. You are structured, quality-conscious and known for keeping promises and delivering on time. We believe you are a perfect fit for the job if you:

• are educated as a civil- or diploma engineer
• have experience with project management of small and medium-sized projects
• have experience with road design and geometry
• are familiar with digital tools such as MicroStation and OpenRoads
• have knowledge of AB18/ABR18
• have experience with tender processes
• can communicate fluently in Danish and English – both written and spoken.

You understand the importance of close and good dialogue with both clients, colleagues and suppliers, and you thrive in an environment where collaboration and coordination are crucial.
