Service Technician for tasks in the Capital Region and Zealand.

As one of our experienced and valued technicians retires, Dansk Plejeteknik is seeking a new service technician for repair and service of assistive devices at hospitals and care centers.

You will become part of a professionally strong team and will have an independent daily life with responsibility to ensure that critical equipment functions optimally – for the benefit of both staff and residents.

Daily tasks include visits to hospitals, care centers and institutions. Here you will perform annual service inspections and repairs on hospital beds, care beds, ceiling lifts, floor lifts, chairs, wheelchairs and more. Your day will be coordinated by our skilled technical coordinators, and your colleagues are all seasoned technicians. During the day’s tasks you will need to register all your work on a PC and in an app, so the job requires you to be meticulous both regarding the quality of your work and the recording of time, spare parts and equipment. You will be thoroughly trained in the tasks.

Your primary tasks will include

• Annual service inspections and repairs of assistive devices and care technology equipment at hospitals, care centers, institutions and private individuals
• Registering time, work performed and spare parts used in the app under the above

Who are you?

You are a person with really hands-on skills. You have a technical education/background in e.g. metalworking, repair, assembly, installation or similar. You thrive working independently and also have a good understanding of when it is relevant to brainstorm with your colleagues – for example if you encounter an assistive device you have not previously worked with. This is important to us, because high quality and correct handling of assistive devices is a central part of our quality assurance.

You present yourself well and are polite to our customers.

• Good IT skills
• Are comfortable with a day-to-day including your own company car, time on the road and independent work
• Have good physical condition, thrive with high activity and changing tasks
• Are loyal, meticulous and friendly – also when tasks require a little extra
• Goes to work with a “I CAN DO IT” attitude and a good mood
