Skovboskolen seeks two qualified teachers

Would you like to be part of a school with a clear learning design, strong values and a focus on the student mindset? Then we are currently seeking a teacher primarily for a special class and a teacher primarily for the upper grades.

Skovboskolen - a well-run school with high ambitions

At Skovboskolen we work with a proven teaching design inspired by True North Learning. We combine effective learning methods, clear structure and classroom management with a strong focus on relationships and the students personal development. Our goal is high academic attainment and a safe, engaging learning environment where all students can succeed.

We are seeking teachers who, for example

• master one or more humanities subjects, English and science in the upper grades
• master teaching in the schools subjects in a special class for students with general learning difficulties from year 4–6
• are development-oriented, engaged and passionate about students learning and well-being
• can and want to work according to the schools learning design and student mindset
• actively and positively participate in a committed team collaboration
• have a positive student mindset

Subjects and responsibilities

We seek teachers with competences and interest in some of the following subjects

• Social studies, history, English and science in the upper grades
• the schools subjects in a municipal special class series for students with general learning difficulties
• You may also be able to teach e.g. music, Danish and mathematics

We emphasise that you

• apply research-informed didactics, e.g. co-teaching
• have high ambitions for students academic, social and personal development
• contribute to joint planning, implementation and evaluation of teaching
• are curious about learning environments that create opportunities for participation for everyone
• have strong relational skills
• are motivated for professional development in the schools learning design
• preferably have special education competences or an interest in mixed-form approaches

About us

Skovboskolen is a values-based public school with about 485 students from 0–9th grade, a special class series and a dedicated staff of 43 teachers and 17 educators. The school is organized in phases with 2–3 streams at each year level.

Both positions are permanent full-time roles. The application deadline is 21 October 2026 at 10:00 with start date 1 December 2026. Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis and no later than 27 October.
