Social and Health Care Assistant for day shift at Jernholtparken

We are looking for a social and health care assistant for a fixed day shift who will come to work happily, engaged and positive together with us.

The day shift is a permanent position of 32-37 hours and works every other weekend.

Your profile

It is important for us that you are passionate about nursing for the elderly, and that in interaction with residents and their relatives as well as your colleagues, both professionally and across disciplines, you help to give residents a good place to live.

• You must have knowledge and competencies – especially within the medical elderly area.
• Have an interest in gerontology.
• You are professionally skilled in basic nursing, and have a rehabilitative approach to the residents and their relatives.
• Be present, calm and empathetic.
• Must be able to join a team where we work for a good everyday life, and have a strong focus on each other and our well-being.
• Responsible for documentation in the citizen journal, according to current guidelines. In collaboration with management, ensure that recommendations from inspections are followed.

Jernholtparken has 55 apartments, where the residents primarily have age-related functional impairments. We are very focused on team thinking, and regard each other and the residents based on resources and competencies.

We are a large multidisciplinary team consisting of social- and health care helpers, social- and health care assistants, nurse’s assistant, activity staff, center nurse, house assistants, center doctor and substitutes.

We work systematically to prevent hospital admissions in consultation with the resident, relatives, their own doctor and e-hospital and are aware that Jernholtparken is both a home and a workplace.
