We are looking for an engaged and academically strong social- and health care assistant for the evening shift.

Your main tasks

• You will become a central part of the residents' daily lives, where relationships, presence and respect are the foundation of everything we do
• You work with holistic care and support, where there is time and room for the individual
• You help ensure high professional quality in task execution with a focus on both structure, overview and professional standards
• You work systematically with documentation and help create coherence and quality in our efforts. We work in Nexus.

Your competences

• You are trained as a social- and health care assistant and want to work in an environment where professionalism and humanity go hand in hand, preferably with an interest in dementia and psychiatry.

Who are we

Toftehaven is a modernised nursing home with a cozy atmosphere, located close to Ballerup centre. We consist of four departments and are home to around 63 residents.

Many of our residents live with dementia, and some have psychiatric disorders with associated cognitive challenges. Therefore we work to create a safe and recognizable everyday life with room for flexibility, presence and individual needs.

We work based on Ballerup Municipality's values and our shared core task. Together we create opportunities for a good and meaningful life regardless of life situation, as close to the familiar as possible. Hiring process and salary

The start date is December 1, 2026 or by agreement.

We hold interviews on an ongoing basis.

The position is generally 37 hours and permanent. Other working hours can possibly be agreed.

Application deadline: November 23, 2026.

We offer salary and employment terms according to the collective agreement for social- and health care assistants in municipalities and according to the principles of local pay formation and in agreement with the negotiating organization.

Salary range for the position is 29,539.99 kr. – 37,211.05 kr. per month (37 hours).

The salary depends on negotiations between the supervisor and the professional organization that has the right to negotiate for the applicable collective agreement.

The composition of the salary depends on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
