Are you a social and health care assistant, and are you seeking a permanent day shift position, you will have the opportunity to use your full professional skills. You bring your health science knowledge into play and apply your social-pedagogical competences to create relationships, understand behavior and find individual solutions in complex dementia journeys.

At Jægersborghave Plejeboliger, you will become part of a specialized dementia department, where person-centered care, high professionalism, and collaborative relationships are the foundation of our work.

Short about the position

• Permanent day shift, hours to be agreed
• Weekend work every 2nd or every 3rd weekend – you choose what suits you best
• Close collaboration with professional coordinators, practice-oriented dementia consultant, development nurse and nursing home doctor
• Work with anchoring of person-centered care and development

As a social- and health care assistant with us

As a social- and health care assistant you are a central professional in the work of translating person-centered care into practice. With your social-pedagogical competences and your health science knowledge you help ensure well-being and create coherent pathways based on the individual resident's life history, wishes and needs.

You will become part of a strong professional community, where you collaborate closely with professional coordinators, colleagues across day, evening and night shifts and our multidisciplinary partners.

With us you will, among other things, have the opportunity to

• be a contact person for 3-4 residents and coordinate a person-centered effort based on the resident's wishes, needs and life history.
• observe, assess and act on changes in the resident's condition and contribute to high health professional quality.
• participate in resident conferences and cross-disciplinary discussions together with professional coordinators, dementia consultant and nursing home doctor.
• work based on Tom Kitwood's principles of person-centered care and contribute to the training of future Social and Health Care Assistants and nursing students.
