About the job

The job

Are you passionate about being part of a health department with a focus on rehabilitation? Do you want to use and develop your skills within citizen education and practical nursing as an on-site assistant with citizens? Do you want to contribute to high professional quality and citizen-safe workflows? Then this might be you we are looking for!

We are looking for a social- and health care assistant for a permanent position in the health unit on 30-37 hours, who wants to be part of a team focused on rehabilitation, professional quality, citizen safety, well-being and the work environment.

The position as social- and health care assistant in the health unit requires that you thrive working independently and in a structured way. As a social- and health care assistant in the health unit you perform rehabilitative nursing and care tasks in the citizen’s own home, with a view to and focus on making the citizen as self-sufficient as possible.

Working area

As a social- and health care assistant you help and guide the citizen to manage as well as possible on their own. You are responsible for fundamental nursing, and here you start from the citizen’s life situation, resources and network and actively use them in your interaction with the citizen. In this way you contribute to creating health for the citizen through joy of life.

Your most important task is to ensure that the citizen feels safe and treated with respect, and you always keep focus on the citizen’s self-determination and goals.

We place great emphasis on giving you a good introduction to the tasks. We are in ongoing dialogue regarding your competence development with a focus on your personal learning and development.

The North Health Unit consists in the evening shift of social- and health care assistants, social- and health care assistants, and a close collaboration with nurses. Together we work with a rehabilitative aim and focus on citizen education and good, coherent forløb (care pathways), which primarily last at most 8-12 weeks.

As an employee in the health unit you will work with “new” citizen pathways, i.e. citizens who are not in a municipal program already.

If you can see yourself in the above and contribute to it, perhaps you are the one we need.

There is a permanent evening shift, with work every 2nd weekend.

A driving license is required.

You will receive a thorough introduction to the tasks.
