We are looking for two new colleagues, one for day shift and one for evening shift.

Who are we?

Øster Elkjær Plejehjem is located in Erritsø and consists of two departments

The Lark’s Nest

• 27 residences distributed over four sections.
• Organized into two teams that work closely together across functions.

The Sunflower

• 16 residences gathered in an accessible and homely environment.

The staff group consists of social- and health care assistants, social- and health care assistants, nurses, activity staff, students, cleaning assistants, technical service staff, sprouts, planners and management.

Our professional foundation

We work every day to ensure that the individual citizen can maintain as much self-determination, quality of life, and identity as possible throughout the course of the illness.

We work, among other things, with

• Tom Kitwood’s principles for dementia care
• Gymnastics, bingo, music- and theatre events
• Outings and shared experiences.

Animals are also part of our educational work and interaction with the citizens. Dogs, cats, horses and sheep create presence, awaken memories, and give rise to good conversations with our residents.

We are also in the process of implementing Eden Alternative. Therefore we are seeking employees who meet new ideas with curiosity and engagement.

Salary and employment terms

In accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.

The positions are 37 hours - one position for day shift and one for evening shift.

According to the municipality's personnel policy, there can be discussions about individual flexibility in working hours and the arrangement of work. There may be occasional shifts in other shift blocks.

Weekend shifts every other weekend.

Start as soon as possible or 1 January 2027.

References

References will be requested upon employment.

Criminal record

Upon employment, a criminal record check will be obtained. The employment is conditional on the criminal record being free of offenses of significance to the performance of the specific position.
