Social- and health care assistant trainees sought for Basic Course 2 + SSA education starting 18 January 2027 at ZBC Køge

Then we have an exciting apprenticeship position for you.

We are seeking social and health care assistant apprentices for Køge Municipality, and we guarantee placements for both the basic course and the main course.

Admission requirements You must have Danish and mathematics at 9th grade level with a grade of 02 or higher.

Who are we? Køge Municipality continuously hires and educates social and health care assistant apprentices.

Our practice sites in home care, at nursing homes and in the social psychiatry department focus on creating good learning environments by ensuring that the apprentices become a natural part of the colleague group.

In each placement you will have a supervisor who ensures you reach your practical goals through weekly guidance conversations and planned study time.

We also focus on a good introduction so that you as an apprentice feel completely confident about the tasks you will perform.

With us you will gain broad insight into the role of a social and health care assistant, and your tasks and areas of responsibility will develop in line with your educational program.

As a social and health care assistant apprentice you enter a training program that alternates between practical placements and school stays at one of ZBC’s divisions.

The internship periods will take place in home care and at care centers in Køge Municipality, at the hospital and in psychiatry.

Throughout the training the working hours are 37 hours per week and you should expect evening and

weekend shifts.

When you enter an education agreement with Køge Municipality, you will be paid during the entire training.

Your salary terms will be according to the applicable collective agreement with FOA www.foa.dk .

If you are over 25 years old, you will receive adult apprentice wages.

Køge Municipality is your employer throughout the training.

In the program you will acquire competencies in cross-disciplinary collaboration around the citizen regarding personal care, activities and involvement with relatives.

You will become familiar with

• Working with citizens with physical and mental disabilities.
• Working with holistic care.
• Collaborating across professional boundaries.
• Working with rehabilitation, preventive and health-promoting initiatives.
• Collaborating with citizens and relatives in difficult life situations.

When you graduate as a social and health care assistant, there will be a need for you, and Køge Municipality has a wide range of positions you can fill.

You can also use the education as a springboard to, among others, nurse, physiotherapist or occupational therapist.
