Your primary tasks

• Care and nursing tasks for our residents.
• Practical help and support for a safe evening routine.
• Medication management, observations and documentation.

About you

You are trained as a social and health care helper - you can be newly qualified or have a few years of experience; the most important thing is that you are passionate about giving our residents a good and meaningful everyday life. You have an interest in residents at a care center, and you can work according to the live-at-home principle. You place high value on close relationships and the homely environment. It is an advantage if you have experience with dementia.

About Bistrupvang Care Center

Bistrupvang Care Center is a well-functioning nursing home with close relationships and plenty of room for humor and presence. We have an activity department and a scenic location. We are proud of our multidisciplinary collaboration which we experience as having a huge impact on residents' perceived quality of care.

Bistrupvang Care Center was built in 2012 with 50 residences. The building is divided into two departments - East and West - each with two living units, with their own kitchen and a shared living room.

In the central corridor between East and West there is a Community House for parties and activities and a training room where our physiotherapist conducts individual and group training. In the corridor there is also an office for administrative staff, duty scheduler, assistant manager, and center manager.

Terms of employment

Employment under the applicable collective agreement and with start as soon as possible by agreement.

The positions are normally 37 hours/week (day shift), or 28 hours/week (evening shift), with weekend duty every other week. More detailed distribution of shifts and weekends will be planned when the right applicants are found.

Employment in the Social and Health area is conditional on a satisfactory public criminal record check.
