We are seeking an engaged social- and health-care helper or social- and health-care assistant for our private nursing home with start date of January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible.

We are a newly started private nursing home that opened its doors on June 1, 2026. We are still in an exciting startup phase, where the building and the community are developing, and where we continuously hire new staff as more residents move in.

This means you will become part of a workplace in development, where there is an opportunity to shape everyday life, collaboration and the professional culture.

We want to create a home where life is lived, and where the individual resident experiences safety, dignity, participation and quality of life. For us, good care is not only about nursing and practical tasks, but also about relationships, presence and the small moments that make everyday life meaningful.

We see our private nursing home as a natural part of the local community. Therefore we prioritise collaboration and community across generations and services. We cooperate, among other things, with the town's school and church, just as we have a collaboration with a day care facility and their associated STU (specially tailored youth education).

We want a lively house with activities, relationships and experiences, where residents, relatives, staff and local communities can contribute to a rich everyday life.

Your tasks

As an employee with us you will be an important part of the residents' daily lives. Your tasks will include:

• To provide personal care, tending and practical help based on holistic care.
• To support residents' self-determination, independence and quality of life.
• To observe, document and respond to changes in residents' condition.
• To contribute to a safe and home-like environment with presence, activities and good relationships.
• To collaborate with colleagues, relatives and relevant partners.
• To contribute professional reflections, ideas and initiatives that can develop our everyday life and professional practice.

We believe that the best care arises when we see the whole person and work together to find solutions that make sense for the individual resident.

Working hours and duty schedule

We are primarily seeking staff for day shifts with occasional evening shifts.

Weekend shifts are planned either every other weekend or three weekends in an eight-week cycle.

We know that a good balance between work and private life is important. Therefore we prioritise that our employees have influence over their meeting times. Working hours are planned in dialogue and collaboration with our duty planner, so as far as possible we can accommodate individual wishes while ensuring a good and coherent staffing.
