Social and Health Care Assistant for night shift at a nursing home with dignity in focus

At Vandtårnsvej Nursing Home, we opened our doors in April 2026, and we are seeking social and health care assistants who want to be on board from the start.

We are not looking for someone who fits into a culture.

We know that starting at a new nursing home can be overwhelming. Therefore we do not expect you to know it all from day one. On the other hand, we promise that you will not be left alone.

Your tasks

You will become an important part of the daily life around the residents and will include, among other things, the following:

• Provide professional and attentive care and support
• Carry out delegated nursing tasks
• Work with medication management, observations and documentation
• Be a contact person for residents and relatives
• Participate in interprofessional coordination, triage and planning

Practical

The position is 28 hours per week in a 7-7 shift pattern, with work every other weekend.

To prevent work-related injuries, Raizer lift chairs, Vendlet and ceiling lifts are natural aids in care.

Permanent helpers and assistants have their own iPad and smartphone as documentation tools. Temporary staff and students have a personal smartphone.

As part of the rehabilitation initiative, welfare technology is prioritized. For example, digital training is being used in home care and visits can be delivered over a screen.
