About the job

At Hovergården we prioritise time for care and relational nursing. We are looking for a dedicated SSA who is passionate about creating safe, cohesive and meaningful journeys for the residents. At Hovergården you will meet some amazing residents who need your help and support in their daily lives. With your professional skills you will contribute to solving various tasks in and around the work with the residents. The most important is that Hovergården is a good place to live and work.

Therefore it is essential that you have a desire to work with people, and that you come with a view of humanity that supports each person’s wish to live the life they want. You may already have experience in the area, and otherwise you are eager to learn.

As an SSA with us you will have the responsibility of exercising clinical leadership in everyday life, including coordination and professional assessments. You will help ensure high quality in care and treatment through systematic documentation and professional guidelines. You will experience a daily focus on relational nursing, where dialogue, trust and cooperation with residents and relatives are in focus. We work to create time for care, both in the small moments and in the complex pathways. You will participate in a cross-disciplinary collaboration with colleagues and external partners.

We are looking for a colleague who works in a structured way and who can create calm and overview in a busy everyday life. A colleague who is willing to learn, reflect and develop professionally. We are seeking someone for a permanent position as of January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is primarily day shifts and working every second weekend. There is the possibility of evening shifts occasionally when the opportunity arises, and if you would like.

We are naturally open to discussing your needs and wishes regarding the work schedule. It could be a wish for more or fewer hours. We are implementing self-scheduling, so there is great flexibility in the work plan. There is a fixed night shift attached to Hovergården.

Plejecenter Hovergården is located at Uhrhøj in Vejle. There are 26 apartments, distributed across 2 houses, an open and visiting Activity House plus a café. Hovergården is a place where people meet with room for good communities. We aim to be a Welfare Center that works across the houses and together creates results we are proud of. We want to create attractive offerings for more target groups and see the strength in that relationships and communities are not limited by age and development opportunities.

Employment terms

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement and local wage.

Employment is offered under the collective agreement for 73.01 Social- and health personnel - SSA, §§ 4-6. The expected starting salary for full-time and excluding pension is base pay level (step 24-27) based on seniority, in the range DKK 29,579 – 34,898. The final placement, including collective agreement basis and salary level, will be determined based on education, experience and qualifications as well as the specific offered position.

It is a permanent position of 35 hours per week. If you want more or fewer hours this can of course be discussed. The position is primarily day shifts, with occasional evening shifts once in a while. Work every 2nd weekend.

Start date 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.
