Would you like to help shape holistic care in interdisciplinary teams?

We are looking for a Social- and Health Care Assistant in one of two teams in the Holistic Care area.

It is expected that you are flexible with regard to shifts if the tasks require it in relation to the aims of holistic care.

There is weekend work at least every 3rd weekend, and otherwise you have influence on how your work schedule should look.

If you wish weekend work every 2nd weekend, this is also possible.

About us

The Holistic Care Toldbodgade covers an area of Silkeborg City Centre and the South Town.

The group is divided into interdisciplinary teams where nurses and therapists as well as Social- and Health Care Assistants are part of the work community under the same leader.

We have close cooperation with the three other Holistic Care groups in the building.

We have started in the new Holistic Care groups, where all professions are represented as of 31 August 2026. So much is still new and you can therefore help shape a new exciting work community.

We focus on developing our professional skills and thereby ensure high quality for the citizens.

As a SSA you have the health professional responsibility for selected citizens.

There is always good sparring with the other Social- and Health Care Assistants, our competence nurse and the nurses in the group.

We have a good mono- and cross-disciplinary collaboration, so you will never feel alone.

There is daily planned assistant time, where you have time to ensure the solution of the day's tasks and documentation etc.

We hold early detection meetings every day/each shift, where Nursing or SSA is the lead. We hold an interdisciplinary DTR meeting weekly, where we discuss health care issues and rehabilitation around the citizens in the individual teams.

Additionally, relevant colleagues are gathered to ensure the solution of the core task in various ways, e.g., at Citizen Conferences/reviews, Teaching, SSA/Nurse meetings, etc.

We are an educational site for students, both SSH and SSA, where everyone contributes to the students' learning. You will also meet nursing students when they have a semester in the house.

We have cars for acute tasks, such as handling of falls, etc.

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement and local salary formation agreement.
