Social and Health Care Assistant for Richtsens Care Center – with the possibility to work every 2nd or 3rd weekend

At Richtsens Care Center we are looking for a social and health care assistant who is passionate about creating a safe, dignified and meaningful daily life for elderly people. We want to be a home where residents continue to experience joy of life, community, self-determination and presence, and where the staff contribute every day to making a real difference.

It is a permanent position, and the work consists of both day and evening shifts, with a majority of day shifts. With us, we share the task in the team, and you will therefore be part of the overall shift plan. You have the option to choose whether you want to work every 2nd or every 3rd weekend. The position is typically 37 hours per week, but we are happy to discuss other solutions.

As a social and health care assistant with us, you will be an important part of everyday life at a care center with 56 residences distributed across 7 living-english units. We work from a holistic approach, where we see the person before the task and base our approach on the individual resident’s wishes, routines and life history.

In our living-environment, meals are served from our own kitchen, contributing to a homely atmosphere. Here, the meal is more than nutrition. It is a community and an important part of everyday life.

• Carry out and perform nursing tasks based on residents’ needs and wishes.
• Contribute to residents experiencing a daily life with self-determination, safety and quality of life.
• Collaborate across disciplines with colleagues, relatives and external partners.
• Help create a homely environment where togetherness, relationships and activities are a natural part of everyday life.
• Take co-responsibility for planning your own work day.
• Work rehabilitatively with focus on the individual resident’s resources and possibilities.
