About Valmuehaven

The Valmuehaven residential facility is a care home with 12 apartments for adult residents with significant physical and mental functional impairments, including residents with dementia.

Your role

You will be part of a stable team of about 5 staff for four residents, where the team has a special responsibility to create and develop the pedagogical foundation around the residents' well-being, development and quality of life.

Together with your colleagues you plan, design and evaluate the pedagogical efforts based on the residents' wishes, resources and needs.

At the same time you become part of the overall staff group and actively contribute to the work around all Valmuehaven's 12 residents. We emphasize that staff take responsibility, bring their professionalism into play and contribute to the development of practice.

At Valmuehaven we work with, among others: Neuro-pedagogy, Recovery-oriented rehabilitation, Mentalizing approach, Life history as a methodological tool, Circle of Security, contact -Ø and LA2U

We are looking for you,

• Are a trained pedagogue
• Can work independently while also engaging in close collaboration with colleagues
• Have an eye for the residents' resources, possibilities and wishes
• Work professionally with reflection and structure
• Are curious, proactive and engaged
• Want to contribute to a good working environment and a strong professional community

It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have experience with the disability sector, dementia or psychiatry.

Practical information

• Permanent position of 37 hours per week
• Day and evening shifts
• Work every 2nd or 3rd weekend
• Commencement as soon as possible or by agreement

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment are according to the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.
