About the job

Would you like to help create presence, safety and continuity for citizens in their own homes? Do you have the heart in the right place, and are you passionate about making a difference? Then you might be our new SOSU helper for a fixed evening shift in the Citizen Teams Hornslet!

The position

We are looking for an SOSU helper for a fixed evening shift position of 30 hours per week with work every other weekend – start on 1 November 2026 or by agreement – and if you have the opportunity to start earlier, there is also a possibility for that.

You will be part of a shift plan with a 5+2 cycle , which means you work

  • 5 days in one week (including your weekend shift)
  • 2 days in the opposite week (the remaining days off)

If you thrive with both day and evening shifts, you should not hesitate to apply. We are open to finding the solution that best fits you and our needs. For us, the most important thing is that you are a trained SOSU helper, professionally competent and passionate about making a difference for our citizens. So whether you prefer fixed evening shifts or want a combination of day and evening shifts, we would love to hear from you.

What makes the job special?

As an evening shift in our citizen team, you become an important part of an innovative and flexible home care service, where you have the opportunity to work independently, take responsibility and at the same time be part of a strong and supportive team.

Your primary tasks

  • Work independently with freedom in daily life, while having a strong team behind you.
  • Ensure continuity of care by communicating clearly with citizens and partners, both in writing and by phone.
  • Collaborate closely with other professional groups through documentation and telephone contact, as the evening shift requires the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively at a distance.

We offer

  • A permanent position with opportunities for professional development.
  • A strong and well-functioning team where we help each other.
  • A workplace in rapid development – your ideas and commitment matter!
  • Thorough introduction, so you feel secure in your new job.
  • Driver's license required – a car will be provided.

We are looking for someone who

  • Thrives with responsibility and works independently, but also values good collaboration and actively participates in the multidisciplinary and rehabilitative work.
  • Is flexible and adaptable.
  • Is good at reflecting and communicating – with citizens, colleagues and partners.
  • Works purposefully with health promotion/prevention.
  • Wants to use IT and welfare technology in their work.

Want to join the team?

We are conducting interviews on an ongoing basis, so we encourage you to send your application before the deadline if the position interests you.

Application deadline: September 20, 2026.

Do you have questions – or would you like to come by and say hello?

Please do not hesitate to contact team leader Katja Warpe Jensen at tel. 23 81 01 77 . You are also very welcome to call to arrange a non-binding visit, where you can come by, say hello to us, see the place and have a talk about the job and everyday life with us.

We think it is important that you have the opportunity to feel whether we are the right match for you – so please come by, even if you are just curious and would like to hear more before you apply.

We look forward to hearing from you!
