About the job

Do you want to help support an important and central effort in the 10-year plan for psychiatry, which is the effort for people with a mental illness who live in housing? And would you like to step into a strong professional environment with engaged colleagues and good opportunities to influence both treatment and the development of the offering. Then a special psychologist or psychologist position in Residential Team West might be something for you.

Residential Team West is a multidisciplinary team that works closely together about people with complex psychiatric problems who live in housing. The team consists of a clinical psychologist, a medical specialist and a chief physician in psychiatry, nurses, pedagogues, an occupational therapist, a social facilitator, a peer worker and secretaries. The team covers housing facilities in the municipalities of Holbæk, Odsherred, Kalundborg, Slagelse, Ringsted and Sorø. Your workplace will be the District Psychiatry in Holbæk.

In Residential Team West we collaborate with staff at housing facilities, municipal partners, relatives and other parts of psychiatry to create cohesive treatment pathways with a focus on recovery, stability and quality of life.

We work according to the F-ACT model, where several professional groups contribute actively to patient pathways. The treatment is planned flexibly with the possibility of home visits and video consultations and based on where the individual is in their treatment course. We offer integrated dual-diagnosis treatment for patients with both complex mental illness and concomitant substance-use issues.

Some of the tasks as a special psychologist or psychologist will be initial conversations with newly referred patients, diagnostic assessment and interview/therapy. You will have opportunities for professional sparring at cross-disciplinary conferences and at medical and psychologist conferences, where we discuss complex patient pathways and develop our shared professional knowledge. You will have a clinical psychology colleague in the residential team and you will become part of a group of psychologists with four clinical psychologists and a psychologist across the District Psychiatry Holbæk.

We prioritize professional reflection, collegial sparring and collaboration highly because we know that the best solutions arise in collaboration.

Your tasks depending on your level of experience

  • Journal entry and treatment planning
  • Psychopathological diagnostic assessment
  • Psychological testing (primarily cognitive and social-cognitive)
  • Counseling sessions and relative/family conversations
  • Psychoeducational conversations
  • Participation in cross-sector collaboration
  • Handling multidisciplinary supervision
  • Teaching of multidisciplinary staff

We offer

  • To become part of a multidisciplinary staff group with engaged colleagues in a good atmosphere characterized by collaboration and mutual goodwill
  • To work at a workplace where management focuses on employee well-being with respect to their own professional group, other professional groups and in relation to management
  • Good possibilities for supervision, education and professional development
