Carelink Shielded Housing is seeking social-educational and pedagogical staff within the area of youth at risk of crime and substance abuse

Carelink Shielded Housing consists of 3 departments, where the target group is children, youths and adults in need of a specially arranged residential care offer in accordance with the Child Act §43 or the Social Services Act §107 and §108.

The target group for each department is characterized by a number of challenges that require a special effort, and where the individual receives 1:1 or 2:1 support. The support is provided by social-educational and pedagogical staff with specialized knowledge within the specific area.

The departments have the following target groups

· Crime and substance abuse

· Autism and developmental disabilities

· Psychiatry and self-harm

About the job

We are seeking a number of employees with a solid background and experience with the target group within crime and substance abuse. Your background is pedagogical and/or social-educational, and preferably with knowledge of pedagogical approaches and methods such as Low arousal, motivational interviewing and the appreciative approach. You should thrive in close relational work with the citizens and at the same time take pride in supporting the citizen's development at a high professional level and in close collaboration with your colleagues.

You will be employed as part of a team in the department and work together with colleagues based on the department's methodological approaches and with a starting point in each citizen's special needs. You report in daily operations to a department head.

There is predominantly talk of around-the-clock shifts, and you spend the shift either alone or with a colleague, depending on the complexity of the task. The assignment includes day, evening and night hours and

is planned for weekdays as well as weekends. The employment corresponds to 160.33 hours, equating to a full-time position.

These are tasks where you must be professionally prepared, be naturally curious about your own and others' professionalism and be able to translate development goals into practical pedagogical measures that support the citizen's development.

You must be able to thrive in a daily life that can be both changeable and require you to take responsibility and action on the challenges that arise, but also be able to assess when you should reach out for sparring and help from a colleague or manager.

· That you have knowledge of and experience with working with socially vulnerable children, youths and adults - and their families/networks.

· That you have a relevant pedagogical or social-educational education and relevant experience with the target group.

· That you can work independently, be initiator, and that you can plan your own time, follow up and complete the things you start.

· That you can see yourself joining a team, where things move fast and where we lift together.

· That you are flexible and responsible – and possess a high degree of tolerance and patience as well as the ability to keep an overview in conflict-filled situations.

· That you possess great commitment, are flexible and responsible while you are passionate about making a difference for children, youths and adults with diverse challenges.

· That you think in a holistic way and can engage in both internal and external collaborative relationships.

· That you can approach your tasks systematically and structured.

· That you are good at observing and documenting your work on a professionally well-founded basis

· That you have a clean criminal record and child safeguarding record.

· That you have a driver's license and own car
