About the job

1 Social- and Health Care Assistant for day shift at Plejecenter Møllebakken.

1 Social- and Health Care Helper for day shift at Plejecenter Møllebakken.

Start date 1 December 2026 – or as agreed

Do you want to make a difference for citizens with complex needs and at the same time be an important part of a care center in positive development? Are you professionally strong, engaged and motivated by an environment where quality, professionalism and stability are keywords?

Then you might be our new colleague.

About us

Plejecenter Møllebakken is a small, cozy care center in Slagelse Municipality with 27 residents distributed in two living-as-one environments: Møllestien – 14 residents and Bakkestien – 13 residents.

In addition, 10 center-near housing units are located close to the care center, where we perform the assigned service.

We work at a high professional level and value strong interdisciplinary collaboration, where we together create security, presence and quality for our residents. Møllebakken is in an exciting development phase with new workflows and a focus on culture, professionalism and stability.

This transition period requires dedicated employees – but also provides a unique opportunity for you who want to make your mark on the future care center.

As part of the implementation of the older citizens reform we work purposefully with

  • greater self-determination and individually tailored pathways
  • stable, fixed employee groups that ensure continuity and security
  • higher professional quality and more competencies in everyday life
  • more presence and less bureaucracy through improved workflows and better documentation
  • focus on coherence in citizen pathways and strengthened interprofessional effort

As our new colleague you will become an important part of this work.

Your tasks

As our colleague you will play a central role in both care and daily life, in tasks based on your competencies. You will

  • carry out healthcare tasks and documentation at a high level
  • work based on the resident's wishes, needs and quality of life
  • understand and support that residents should live life – with activities, community and meaningful experiences
  • actively contribute to a safe and good working environment
  • participate in professional development, including mentalization, acute nursing and My Skills

Support the principles on which the older citizens reform is built: quality, stability, self-determination and presence

About you

We expect that you

  • either are a licensed social- and health care assistant with relevant experience or are educated as a social- and health care helper
  • have interest in – or experience with – complex citizen pathways, preferably from a care home
  • take responsibility and can work independently with care- and health care law tasks
  • are engaged in your own professional development
  • contribute positively to a good working environment and thrive in an organization in development
  • are flexible and prepared to handle everyday changes with calm and professionalism

We offer

  • an exciting position in an organization in professional and cultural development
  • opportunity for competence development – including courses in mentalization, collaboration on professionalism and acute nursing
  • a workplace community with focus on quality, cooperation and sparring
  • influence on workflows, structure and development of a modern care center culture
  • an environment where the new older citizens reform principles are an active part of everyday life

Conditions of employment

37 hours per week (can be adjusted by agreement), with shifts every other weekend in odd weeks

Salary and other terms follow the applicable collective agreement
