Staff needed for renovation project at the hotel

We are seeking an employee for a large renovation project at one of our hotels, where a number of hotel rooms must be fully renovated.

The position is initially time-limited to the renovation period , but for the right person there is an opportunity for permanent employment afterwards.

About the job

You will become part of a team responsible for the practical execution of the renovation of the hotel rooms.

The rooms must be renovated from end to end, and there will therefore be many different types of tasks along the way.

Your tasks may include

• Dismantling and preparation of existing rooms
• Demolition and light dismantling
• Plastering and preparation of walls
• Painting
• Setup and installation of furniture
• Assembly and placement of furniture
• Installation of lamps, curtains, pictures and other interior items where the work does not require authorization
• Smaller carpentry tasks and repairs
• Mouldings, joints and the final finish
• Practical tasks related to the entire renovation process
• Ensure that the rooms are delivered finished and ready for our guests

We of course use licensed tradespeople for the tasks that require it. Your role will be to solve as many of the remaining practical tasks as possible and help ensure progress in the project.

Who are you?

Your education is not the decisive factor for us.

You can be a tradesperson, former tradesperson, janitor or simply have many years of experience with renovation and practical work.

The most important is that you

• Have your hands properly on the job
• Have experience with renovation or practical craft work
• Can work independently
• Can work efficiently without compromising on quality
• Have an eye for detail and the final finishing touches
• Are flexible and ready to take action where needed
• Can collaborate with both colleagues and external tradespeople
• Have a driving license

Possibility of permanent employment

The position is initially tied to the specific renovation project.

But we have ongoing renovation and maintenance projects at our hotels around Denmark. Therefore there will be, for the right person, the possibility of permanent employment after the project ends .

A permanent position would mean that you should be prepared to work at different Milling hotels and, from time to time, stay away overnight when we have larger projects elsewhere in the country.

If you enjoy a daily life with different workplaces and projects, there may therefore be the opportunity for a permanent job with us afterwards.
