Steensvang Nursing Home is seeking a social and health care assistant as a permanent night-shift worker.

The position is a permanent night shift, on average 24.5 hours, or if you wish for full-time, it will be in mixed shifts up to 37 hours per week.

We work 7 days and 7 days off in the night shift rotation.

Starting as soon as possible after agreement or no later than January 1, 2027.

We are looking for a colleague with a smile on their face, initiative, and who will engage in the house.

At Steensvang Nursing Home there are 2 on duty at night for 6 hours (from 00:00 to 06:00); overtime hours from 23:00 to 24:00 and the morning hour from 06:00 to 07:00 there is 1 employee, with the possibility to call a colleague from outreach teams.

Steensvang Nursing Home

Steensvang Nursing Home is a small, well-functioning nursing home with 23 fixed residents. The home is divided into 4 departments with 5–7 residents in each department. There are exclusively fixed, trained staff attached to all 4 departments and in addition a nurse is employed on all weekdays. The nursing home is located about 9 km from Faaborg.

We are in Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality undergoing rapid development in the elderly care sector, where all nursing homes in the coming years will be verified as Eden Nursing Homes with a focus on preventing loneliness, despair, and boredom. That is, we have a strong focus on each resident’s life story and interests, so we can plan and offer a daily life that is interesting and meaningful for the individual.

We also prioritize having a good collaboration with relatives and are working to involve civil society more – hopefully to the benefit of all parties.
