About the job

Do you want to help create quality of life and development for people with special needs – and at the same time have a daily life with professional challenges and flexibility? Then the job in our fixed pool of temporary staff might be something for you!

Right now we are looking for both those who thrive best at night, as well as someone who is best on day and evening shifts.

About the Fixed Temp Pool East and West

Center for Handicap has for some time operated a fixed pool of temporary staff, covering shifts in all of our residential facilities, activity and employment offers as well as the housing support area.

Our citizens have very different needs and require lasting support and guidance regarding daily functions such as:

  • Social relations and cognitive support
  • Personal hygiene, medicine and meals
  • Economy
  • Activities and employment

In all departments we work from a structured and validating approach, where we emphasize relationship work, predictability and development – always based on the individual citizen's wishes, needs and prerequisites.

We work with LA2U, which is a reflection and dialogue method developed to promote citizens' well-being and to prevent the use of power.

You will become part of a multidisciplinary staff group consisting of educators, pedagogical assistants, social- and health-care assistants and care helpers.

Flexibility – what does it mean to us?

As part of the fixed pool you get a unique opportunity to work across several offerings and departments.

That means

  • Varied meeting times and workplaces.
  • Shifting tasks with and without citizens.
  • Influence on working hours.
  • A good onboarding, where you see several of our offerings, and are always accompanied by a permanent employee.
  • We work purposefully with occupational psychology to create a healthy working environment and prevent stress and burnout among employees.

We expect that you

  • You have the desire and ability to work from an individual approach to the citizens.
  • You are engaged and curious about professional development.
  • Have good cooperation skills, are responsible and flexible.
  • Thrive in a flexible and changing work life.
  • Have good IT skills and can document professionally in writing.
  • Have a driving license.
