FGU Nordvest seeks an engaged teacher for our STU department in Nykøbing

FGU Nordvest is looking for a dedicated teacher for our department in Nykøbing. We offer a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where you can help shape the future for a group of young people who are enrolled in a specially arranged youth education (STU). STU is an individually tailored program composed of different elements at school or in a company. We are therefore looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic about working with this specific target group.

Our STU offering is practice-oriented and we go to great lengths to help students who have the opportunity, out into various internships. Part of the task therefore also involves close cooperation with various companies, and the municipality the student is affiliated with.

We expect that you

• Are educated as a teacher or pedagogist.
• Can work in a structured way.
• Are open-minded and empathetic and have strong relationship skills so you can create trust and security with the students.
• Thrive in working independently and across professions.
• Have solid pedagogical competencies and can adapt the teaching to the individual student's needs.
• Are happy to have experience with teaching in the form of workshop work.
• Thrive in a busy and changing daily life where flexibility and adaptability are keywords.
• In addition to STU also able to contribute to the task solutions at FGU.
• Are good at self-management, as the task involves many varied tasks that must be coordinated.
• Professionally engage in collaboration with everyone.

Salary and terms of employment

There is a permanent full-time position from 1 November 2026 or earlier if possible.

The position is paid in accordance with the collective agreement for teachers etc. at institutions for preparatory basic education (FGU) – applicants are requested to inform themselves in advance about salary and employment terms Lærer FGU Collective Agreement '
