Student assistant for the finance department

At Elbek & Vejrup we are looking for an engaged student assistant for our finance department, who wants to gain practical experience and become part of our everyday life.

You will work closely with your colleagues in the finance department and have the opportunity to try your hand at various tasks where you can apply your study knowledge in practice.

Your tasks may include

• Bookkeeping and handling of vouchers with the latest IT tools
• Invoicing and follow-up on payments
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable management
• Reconciling accounts and financial records
• Working with Excel and financial dashboards
• Testing and improving financial processes with Copilot, AI agents and automation
• Other administrative tasks in the finance department

Of course you don’t have to know it all from day one. We provide a good introduction and colleagues you can always ask for advice. In return we expect you to be curious, take responsibility and want to learn.

Work with the finance function of the future – already today

With us you work with the latest IT tools such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Online and Copilot in Business Central. Copilot across Microsofts other tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and Outlook.

Our finance department is often a testing ground for some of the new best practice processes within the financial area, which we later offer to our customers. You will therefore become part of a department that continually challenges the current processes with the latest IT capabilities in practice – including semantic data platforms and AI agents, both individual agents and enterprise agents, that solve concrete tasks.

The development is fast right now, so it is a clear advantage if you have interest and flair for the entire AI agenda. If you are studying HA and continue on a master's program, you may have the opportunity to do an internship in one of our consultant teams and try IT and business advisory.

After the internship you can continue as a student assistant while writing your thesis, and after graduation there may be an opportunity to join our one-year Graduate program.

If you are studying financial economics, you also get the chance to build practical experience and develop your skills. We are happy to discuss your future opportunities with us based on your education and your ambitions.

So you not only gain experience for your CV, but also an opportunity to explore which direction you want to go after the studies.

We imagine that you

• Have completed an HHX and are in the process of either HA at minimum 3rd semester or the financial economist program at minimum 1st semester
• Have an interest in economics, business understanding and IT
• Are engaged with AI and new technologies and want to see how they can improve workflows in practice
• Are structured, responsible and have an eye for detail
• Are engaged, outgoing and thrive on collaborating with others
• Are curious and eager to learn and develop yourself

It’s an advantage if you have experience with finance or similar tasks, but not a requirement. The most important is that you are driven and eager to learn.
