About the job

Would you like to help ensure high professional quality and set the direction for a comprehensive sickness benefit effort in JOBSorø?

In JOBSorø we are seeking a professional coordinator who can ensure high quality in case processing, create a common professional direction and support a sickness benefit effort with focus on early intervention, job retention, progression and results. This also includes contributing to the development of the workflows that support the whole task solution, so that it encompasses both the period before and during a sickness absence.

We are in the middle of a development of the sickness benefits area, where new reforms, changed frameworks and rising expectations call for a strong professional effort close to operations. Therefore we are looking for a coordinator who both has solid sickness benefit expertise and the ability to systematically follow up on whether our efforts create the desired results for citizens, businesses and the municipality.

With us we work from the ambition that Everyone has a right to a job . Therefore the labor market perspective must be visible throughout the effort. We believe that the best path back to the labor market often goes through an early dialogue with the workplace, focus on job retention and an active use of the company-oriented opportunities.

You will become a central sparring partner for both employees and management and will have an important role in the development of the future sickness benefits effort, where we will to a much greater extent also contribute to avoiding sickness absence in workplaces through efforts that can be brought into play before a potential sickness absence.

About the position

As a professional coordinator you will be the professional steering engine in the sickness benefits area.

You will help ensure that we work from a strong common professional foundation, and that our decisions, methods and workflows are translated into a practice that creates progression in citizens' trajectories.

An important part of the task will be to actively use data and management information to support quality and results. You must be able to identify patterns, follow developments in case processing and translate knowledge into concrete improvements in practice.

Your tasks will include among others to

  • ensure high professional quality and consistent practice across the entire sickness benefits area
  • systematically follow up on duration, progression, timeliness and cases at risk of lack of progress
  • analyze data and management information and translate results into professional development initiatives
  • support the implementation of legislation, reforms and political decisions
  • develop and maintain professional standards, workflows and methods
  • support employees through professional sparring, feedback, teaching and buddying
  • contribute to the development of earlier and more workplace-centered interventions for sick citizens
  • strengthen focus on job retention and company-oriented opportunities in case processing
  • facilitate professional meetings and development programs
  • represent the sickness benefits area in the Professional Forum, which is a professional development community where all professional coordinators participate, and contribute to cross-cutting professional development in the organization. This also includes translating joint decisions and learning from the Professional Forum into the team.

A clear mandate

You shall together with management contribute to setting the professional direction for the area, support common standards and follow up on whether they are translated into practice.

You must have the courage to challenge existing workflows, pose professional questions and bring patterns, challenges and development needs to management when action is needed.

We therefore seek a profile who can create buy-in through professionalism, relationships and credibility, but who is also persistent when quality, progression and agreements must be followed to the letter.

With the role, there is no personnel responsibility, but within the framework agreed with management, you must set professional requirements, give feedback and follow up on the agreed standards.

We are looking for a colleague who

  • has in-depth knowledge of sickness benefit legislation and the employment area
  • has experience with professional coordination, quality assurance or development tasks
  • understands the interaction between legislation, operations, labor market and company efforts
  • works systematically with follow-up and has an eye for both details and patterns
  • can actively use data and management information in professional development
  • has experience with working to retain employees and company-oriented interventions, including also the use of partial sickness
  • can translate complex professional issues into concrete practice
  • communicates clearly and creates engagement around common goals and direction.
