Supplier Quality Coordinator (temporary)

The job is a maternity leave cover with expected start in mid-January 2027.

Brief about your new job

Supplier Quality plays a crucial role in ensuring that the raw materials and packaging we use in our products meet current requirements for quality, food safety, and documentation. The area will only become more important. As Supplier Quality Coordinator you will be the link between suppliers and internal functions such as Procurement, Product Development and other quality functions, and you will be responsible for a well-established portfolio with thorough handover from the colleague you are substituting.

At the same time you will have the opportunity to influence and develop processes in close collaboration with both colleagues and partners.

Reporting to the Supplier Quality Manager, Birgitte Lærke Bentsen, you will be part of the small Supplier Quality team of three employees, which is integrated into Central Quality, where we are a total of eight colleagues.

In Supplier Quality we ensure that supplier data and documentation meet applicable quality requirements, food law and standards through, among other things, work with:

• Creation and ongoing maintenance of supplier, raw material and packaging data
• Acquisition, assessment and approval of documentation concerning suppliers, raw materials and packaging
• Qualification and ongoing assessment of suppliers in accordance with the company’s quality and food safety requirements
• Conducting and documenting risk assessments of raw materials and packaging
• Ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, internal quality requirements and relevant food safety standards
• Dialogue and follow-up with suppliers regarding documentation, quality requirements and any deviations, as well as close collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders
• Handling of quality-related inquiries and documentation requirements from both internal and external stakeholders
• Participation in raw material groups, certification audits and relevant authority inspections
• Ongoing maintenance of professional knowledge about current legislation, standards and other requirements within supplier, raw material and packaging areas

You will have a versatile job with both independent task execution, variety and freedom under responsibility. At the same time you become part of a smaller team with high professionalism, close sparring and a strong sense of community.

Your primary workplace will be in Horsens. There may occasionally be activities at our other sites.

Can you ensure high quality and attention to detail?

There can be many ways into the position. We imagine that you have a natural science background with understanding of chemistry and preferably microbiology, and the ability to apply this knowledge in a food-technical context. Perhaps you have recently graduated in food technology and/or food chemistry at bachelor level, or perhaps you have gained equivalent experience through practical work. We expect that you:

• Work in a structured, methodical and detail-oriented way with documentation and can maintain both progress and overview when many tasks are in progress
• Can see yourself in a role where you work independently and have many touchpoints in daily work
• Have good collaboration and communication skills and master English in both written and spoken form

In addition, it would be a great advantage if you

• Have knowledge of food legislation and quality management
• Have experience with or an interest in food safety and food standards, preferably BRC
• Have knowledge of or experience with legislation and requirements regarding packaging and food contact materials
