About the job

Nurse for the Substance Abuse Center Faaborg – Midtfyn Municipality, outpatient offer, maternity leave -32 hours/week.

Do you want to collaborate with people with substance use disorders? Are you professionally ambitious, curious, appreciative and development-oriented? Can you work systematically, dialogically and at the same time accommodate a daily life that is often unpredictable? Then you are probably our new colleague.

About us

The Substance Abuse Center Faaborg – Midtfyn Municipality is located in Faaborg with a satellite department in Ringe.

We have about 300 citizens in treatment – substance and alcohol treatment, children/young people and adults.

The target group is wide and we take departure in the citizen's situation/desires and goals – always with the citizen as the closest partner. We meet the citizen where it makes sense for the citizen to meet, therefore there will also be an outreach function in the position.

We have just undergone a new organization of the Substance Abuse Center, where we have gained greater flexibility in task execution.

The staff consists of 17 people: nurses, social pedagogues, social worker, prevention worker, social mediator, administrative staff and a doctor. We are organized into 2 teams and a health care team that is anchored in the 2 teams.

We want a culture characterized by a positive approach to and belief in the citizens' potential for change. We want to create a learning community where everyone contributes on equal terms. You will help create that.

About you

  • You have knowledge and experience with addiction treatment
  • You have experience within psychiatry or somatics
  • Preferably systemic/cognitive or Open Dialogue training or another relevant education
  • You want and are brave to collaborate with citizens who are often characterized by symptoms of their challenges, both physically and psychologically
  • You persistently continue to focus on the person and everyday life as the starting point for collaboration.
  • You show tolerance and respect for the citizen's values and way of life
  • You wish to develop yourself professionally as well as personally
  • You can work independently and as a facilitator both towards the citizen, the network, colleagues and partners
  • You participate in the cross-professional collaboration around the citizen's individual action plan, where you actively contribute with your own professional angles and competencies while you are curious about others
  • You master the medication module in Nexus
  • You can handle all tasks regarding medication
  • You contribute to a good working environment and have an appreciative approach to both citizens and colleagues.

We offer

  • A workday with diverse and complex clinical nursing tasks
  • Process-oriented collaboration around the citizen's wishes for a meaningful life, where alcohol and/or drugs are the challenge
  • A collegial community where we help and support each other when the work becomes difficult
  • A workplace where collaboration is based on systemic, narrative and dialogic conversation forms
  • A workplace where there is room for different viewpoints and where there is openness to new ideas and initiatives.
  • A casual style of contact with room for diversity
  • Supervision with an external supervisor
  • A workplace focused on development and learning
  • We are part of a 3-year project concerning the trauma-informed approach
  • An organization in constant change and moving towards more dialogic practice
