Teacher for 4kløver School and Children's House

Then the position as a teacher at 4kløver School and Children's House might be for you.

We are seeking a teacher with teaching competence in Danish, English and preferably physical education for our department in Ørbæk. In the coming school year, the majority of teaching will be Danish for the 1st and 2nd grades, and we therefore emphasize that you want to work with early years pupils and are enthusiastic about supporting their academic, social and personal development.

About the school

4kløver School and Children's House is a village arrangement on three sites in Ørbæk and Frørup, located in the southern part of Nyborg Municipality. The school has about 440 pupils and 60 staff and consists of two school sites: Ørbæk department with grades 0-9 and Frørup department with grades 0-6 and the associated Skattekisten Children's House with a nursery and kindergarten. Both Ørbæk and Frørup departments have their own after-school care (SFO) with strong support from the pupils.

The school is characterized, among other things, by employing a well-educated and ambitious staff and an engaged institutional board. In addition, we have very good physical facilities both indoors and outdoors. The school has gym halls at both sites and hosts PLC integrated in the local public library linked to the school.

This school year we have a particular focus on the following areas

• Reading boost for all (0.-9. grade)

As part of a municipal initiative, we have a special focus on strengthening students’ reading motivation and reading skills. We systematically work with reading across all subjects and use Molovitten as a central method in our reading efforts. Through shared strategies and a targeted approach to reading instruction, we aim to create a strong reading culture where all students experience motivation, progression and joy in reading.

• Development of a practical model in the early years

We strive to create a more inclusive school where more children thrive and develop both academically and socially. In collaboration with CFP, we develop our practice through a change model where staff actively contribute to the development of playful and inclusive learning environments.

• Practice-oriented teaching (2.-5. grade)

We focus on practice-oriented teaching through outdoor school and learning in authentic environments. Students encounter instruction where movement, experiences and local learning environments such as the nearby area are a natural part of the school day. The goal is to create varied learning formats that strengthen both engagement, participation and subject development.

The position is full-time and expected to be filled by 1 January 2027.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local pay formation.

The expected starting salary falls within the interval 38,200 - 44,490 DKK per month excl. pension and flexible-lending allowance. The exact salary is set on the basis of objective and gender-neutral criteria, including education, experience, competencies and the responsibilities of the position.
