Teacher for 6th to 9th grade at Frederiksværk School

We are looking for a teacher who has an eye for students' wellbeing and development potential as well as academic progression, and who has strong relationship skills.

We imagine that you are passionate about your students' learning and would like to bring teaching out into authentic learning environments, cultivate the practical subjects and find it exciting to think about learning in many ways. At the same time you see it as your task to create participation opportunities for all children. You have an eye for the sense of community in the class and at the school, just as you are curious about your own teaching, and how it is best organized didactically – preferably in close collaboration with colleagues.

We are looking for a teacher for our 6th to 9th grade section with competencies in the science subjects, especially mathematics. If you have competencies in teaching English, Danish, cultural subjects or other of the Folkeskole's subjects you are also warmly welcome to apply.

Frederiksværk School has about 400 students, and we focus on safeguarding the story of Frederiksværk School as the natural choice for the area's children, where wellbeing, community and learning as well as participation opportunities for the broad child community are at the forefront. We moved in January 2023 into a completely newly built school, where we can enjoy the beautiful buildings and lots of light and air every day, and we have just gained access to the brand-new Enghavehal, which is located right in the back yard.

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. The base salary for the lowest salary grade is 39,293.85 DKK/month excl. pension. In addition, qualification and position allowances may be agreed.
