Lillebjerg Skole in Hundested is seeking an engaged and professionally curious teacher who is passionate about working in a treatment and special education provision where relationships, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and pedagogical quality are at the core.

About Lillebjerg Skole

Lillebjerg Skole is a treatment and special education offering for about 40 pupils. We are located in newly renovated premises with nature right outside the door – a learning environment that supports calm, presence and development.

The school is a central part of Halsnæs Municipality's special needs effort and works closely with the municipality's mainstream schools, PPR, and the Children and Youth Department. We have a strong pedagogical foundation, which we continue to develop, and which you will become an important part of.

Your tasks as a teacher

• Special education of pupils with different needs and prerequisites, including autism and attention disorders.
• Relationship work as a central part of teaching and treatment work.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with treatment pedagogues, PPR and the Children and Youth Department.
• Didactic development with a focus on what works to help children succeed.
• Documentation and structure as a natural part of everyday life.
• Bridge-building to the general education sector for pupils who may eventually return to the public school.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a teaching degree and preferably experience with special pedagogical approaches.
• Has a trust-based and patient approach to the pupils.
• Thrives in an environment where relationships and interdisciplinary collaboration are essential.
• Has a fundamental belief that children can develop with the right support.
• Is systematic, structured and good at keeping focus on the core task.
• Wants to be part of a staff group that is academically strong, engaged and focused on developing practice.
• Teaching experience in these subjects: Danish, English, Christianity and culture subjects. Ideally specialized in a subject area.

Employment from January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible. Salary and terms of employment are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. In addition, qualification and function allowances can be agreed. The expected total salary is in the range of DKK 41,000 - 47,000 per month excluding pension, depending on experience and competencies.
