About the position

  • We are primarily looking for a teacher who has a profile with German and craft and design.
  • You build your practice on an appreciative and resource-oriented view of children and learning.
  • You can relate to the municipality's common pedagogical foundation
  • You see clear structures as a prerequisite for good teaching and learning, but are at the same time brave and willing to think outside the box.
  • You are an engaged and relationship-building collaborator and sharing knowledge about your own and others' practice comes naturally to you.
  • You thrive in a daily life where two days are rarely the same, and you are able to adapt your teaching to the students' needs and prerequisites.
  • You place great emphasis on the collaboration between school and home. You will go far to ensure the student succeeds.
  • You believe in yourself and have a professional approach to the overall practice.

About the target group

Students in the special department need a special pedagogical learning environment with a high degree of structure, predictability and clear adults. They often face challenges with attention, self-regulation, social interaction and processing of sensory impressions.

Several have diagnoses such as ADHD, ADD or autism spectrum disorders – often combined with learning difficulties.

What they share is the need for teaching in small groups and support for both academic, social and personal development. Safety and good relationships are crucial for their well-being and learning.
