Team Coordinator for the Security Operations Center in Corporate IT

Can you make AI rhyme with IT security – or can you sing a song about IT risk management?

Copenhagen has over 45,000 employees, more than 1,000 IT systems and the portfolio continues to grow – not least with AI functionality. We are looking for you who have the skills and drive to help us keep both new and old IT systems within the municipality's risk tolerance.

About the position

For the Operational Security service area we are looking for an IT security consultant for the Technical Risk Management team. You bring relevant experience or education within IT risk assessments into one of Denmark's most complex IT landscapes – and you will have the opportunity to sharpen your security skills in AI, OT, CIS18, software and classic IT applications.

You will have real influence from day one – on methods, processes and your own work day.

You can look forward to

• conduct risk assessments of IT systems, AI solutions, software and infrastructure
• advise colleagues and projects on risk management across the municipality's many diverse tasks
• help the organization understand and manage technical risks associated with their IT solutions, including new technology
• contribute to further developing and streamlining our IT risk management methods
• communicate technical risks to both technical colleagues and non-technical stakeholders
• work closely with the municipality's CISO function on maturity and practice.

You will become part of a professionally strong team that prioritizes knowledge sharing and helps each other across the organization.

About you

You may have several years of experience in IT security or IT risk management and are used to working independently with complex risk assessments. You may have a relevant education in IT security and the necessary drive to take the leap with the municipality. In addition we expect that you

• have concrete experience with IT risk assessments, preferably from a larger organisation or a complex IT environment, or from your education
• have basic knowledge of the contents of e.g. ISO 27001, 27002 and 27005 and certifications in IT security and risk management are an advantage
• are curious about artificial intelligence and the security questions that come with it – technical AI experience is a clear plus
• can work independently and take responsibility, but also thrive when the task is solved in collaboration
• would like to actively contribute to the team’s professional development and shape the methods.

Employment conditions

The position is 37 hours per week with expected start on December 1, 2026. Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement and qualifications.
