Team Leader for Supermarket in Lalandia, Rødby

🛒 Can you keep track of the shelves, the guests and the colleagues? Then you may be our new Team Leader.

We are looking for a full-time Team Leader from 1 February 2027, who wants to take responsibility, create a good atmosphere and help ensure that our guests have a good experience, whether they are buying groceries, toys, logistic items or sandwiches and slushies in our Surf Club food & drinks, which is an integrated part of the supermarket.

You will be part of a strong team, where there are 5 permanent employees and about 20 casuals and youths with part-time jobs. You share the management task with the Grocer and our other Team Leader, so you together make everyday life work – even when it’s busy.

🛒 What will you do?

You will among other things

• help lead, motivate and develop our employees
• ensure good customer service and a store that is always ready for the guests
• participate in the daily operation, replenishment and all the other tasks that belong to a supermarket and our Surf Club
• help our many young employees get a good start in their working life
• create structure, overview and good mood – even when there is a queue at the till

You therefore must be able to lead from the front and take action. With us a Team Leader is not only someone who distributes tasks, but also someone who rolls up their sleeves.

😊 Who are you?

We imagine that you

• are educated in retail with a background from a supermarket
• are keen on leadership and preferably have experience taking responsibility for others
• are good with people and can motivate both young and experienced colleagues
• have an overview, are independent and thrive in a busy day
• can speak and understand Danish – and if you also speak English and German, that’s a plus
• meet guests and colleagues with a smile and a positive attitude

You don’t need to have been a leader before. The most important is the right attitude, a solid professional background from another supermarket and the desire to develop yourself.

⏰ And the working hours?

A supermarket in a holiday centre obviously doesn’t only stay open from 8 to 16. Therefore you must be prepared for changing working hours, which can be day, evening, weekends and holidays.

On the other hand you’ll avoid the classic "wolf hour" with stressed customers on their way home from work . With us the customers are guests on holiday – and that gives a completely different atmosphere in the store. 🌴
