Then you may be our new Team Leader for Traffic Information in Fredericia

You will be responsible for 13 engaged and professionally skilled employees, who every day play an important role in the railway's overall operations. Traffic Information is a joint unit between Banedanmark and DSB. Together we work to ensure that train passengers receive the information they need – both when traffic runs as planned and when disturbances occur.

A leadership role close to the operation

As team leader you are responsible for the daily personnel management, but you also become an active part of the operational everyday life.

The department is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and to ensure proximity to the employees and understanding of the task, you yourself join the team's shift pattern. It is expected that you continuously participate in shifts and thus experience the same working conditions, operational challenges and collaboration relationships as your employees.

We believe that good leadership starts with insight into the core task. Therefore it is important that you both want to be a leader and to be a visible part of the daily operation.

Your most important tasks

You must create direction, development and well-being in the team, while ensuring stable operations and a high professional level.

Your tasks include among others

• Daily personnel management of 13 employees.
• Visible leadership close to the employees' everyday life and ongoing participation in the team's shifts.
• MUS, wellbeing conversations and sick leave conversations.
• Staffing and competence planning in collaboration with a planner.
• Follow-up on quality, standards and workflows.
• Implementation of new systems, processes and tasks.
• Development of the team's professional competences.
• Strengthening collaboration with DSB, Banedanmark and other partners.

You will become part of a management team where sparring, shared responsibility and development are a natural part of everyday life. At the same time, employees work closely with a range of functions across the railways to ensure the best possible information to customers.

Salary and terms of employment

You are employed under the current Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The Public Sector Area (OAO-S collective agreement) and the organizational agreement for office functions, technicians and IT employees.

The position is in principle placed in salary grade 4 according to the applicable agreement, which you find here and the Employees' and Competence Authority's salary overview, which you find here .

Depending on your qualifications and competences there is a possibility for negotiating allowances. There will be an employer-funded pension scheme of 16% attached to the total salary.
