About the job

Do you want leadership and do you value being able to set the direction for a newly merged team yourself?

We are a recently merged cross-disciplinary team in Rønde, looking for a leader who will travel with us. We want to explore new paths, as we place learning high, and we have a continuous focus on strengthening the professional quality, just as we set a high standard for collaboration and well-being in the team. We are looking for you who are proactive, dare to challenge the “usual”, want to involve us, are professionally ambitious; but also can keep track of the finances so there is always a framework that covers the expenses for our salary.

A leadership role with meaning, responsibility and influence

You will become the leader of approximately 30 engaged cross-disciplinary employees. You will also have the opportunity to participate in hiring and onboarding the final employees to the team, so you can thereby set your own direction. Together we solve holistic care tasks for citizens based on rehabilitation, the citizens’ wishes, our different professional disciplines and strong relationships.

You will be responsible for creating the best conditions for us to succeed with our tasks close to the citizen. This includes ensuring stable operations, high professional quality, a good working environment, and supporting the forward-looking development of our self-managing and cross-disciplinary team. You also have the leadership responsibility for a full-time resource planner, who every day is your right-hand in planning both routes and duty rosters.

We also want a leader who has a strong health and leadership professional background, as we experience that citizen paths over the years have become increasingly complex, and who can also support that we always have a good brand in relation to recruitment. We would also like you to be close enough to us, and make time for shared coffee and good joint dialogues, so that together we generate new learning and create development for the benefit of the citizens.

We are looking for you, who as a leader are ambitious, and like us would like to boast about all the good we do and can. We also want to help you develop as a leader, and be able to support you in your forward-looking wishes on your leadership path.

We can also tell you that as the leader of our citizen team you do not stand alone, as you will be linked to a cross-cutting leadership community with other leaders of citizen teams. Here, sparring, shared leadership responsibility and a strong collegial community are prioritized, where the leaders help each other with both operations, development and the challenges they meet along the way. There is a fixed meeting structure. With us you are not alone with the leadership task.

You become part of the Syddjurs Model

In Syddjurs Municipality we work from the vision of strengthening citizens' self-determination and creating greater coherence and continuity in care through cross-disciplinary, self-governing citizen teams. This means that decisions to the widest extent are made close to the citizen by us who are employees and know the citizen's needs best.

This places special demands on your leadership behavior. As a leader we therefore need you to be able to create direction without taking over our responsibility. We value managerial support, facilitation and coaching surrounded by a clear direction and a safety net when we cannot see that we are about to drown. If you can deliver this, we will reward you with loyalty, trust in you and lots of smiles.

What else could we wish for?

We could also wish that you

  • have a relevant health professional education, preferably as a nurse.
  • have management experience within the health, care or elderly sector.
  • have a leadership education or have a desire to pursue one.
  • consist of equal parts loving care, human robustness and persistent insistence
  • can translate visions into action and create results together with the employees
  • can help us prioritise in everyday tasks; but also can prioritise in your own tasks, so we together reduce complexity in our ever-changing society.
  • can and dare to think outside the box, try new things with a view to always strengthening our motivation and engagement.
  • communicate in an appreciative and dialogic manner

We know well that we cannot get everything we want; but then we can definitely also teach you something.

We already think it’s obvious why our team is attractive; but to make you completely convinced, choose us because with us you get:

  • an attractive leadership position with great influence on the development of future health and elderly care
  • some wonderful colleagues
  • the opportunity to put your own mark on the work with a new merged team.
  • an organisation that works purposefully with professional development, well-being and quality
  • a workplace where our collaboration base is: conversations, development, determination, responsibility and community.

We are already looking forward to collaborating with you, so hurry to send us an application.
