That is how it has been since 2010, when it was just Anders Hartvig and a van. Today we are more than 70 colleagues across carpenters, masons, painters, joiners and administration – but we still go to work every day with the same mindset: we do it properly.

What we most want to be known for is still the same as in 2010: to perform a proper and honest piece of work – together.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

As a quotations estimator at Hartvig Gruppen A/S you report to the department manager and are responsible for:

• Calculation and bid preparation on construction, renovation and service tasks
• Risk assessment and coverage on the bids we submit
• A structured and consistent bidding process from receipt of the case to submission of the bid

And you will work with, among other things

• Review tender material, descriptions, drawings and other project material
• Calculate materials, hours, subcontractors and other project costs
• Obtain and evaluate prices from suppliers and partners
• Identify risks, ambiguities and opportunities in the projects before we submit the bid
• Follow up on submitted bids and contribute to learning on both won and lost cases
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers, advisors, suppliers and partners
• Ensure a good handover of won projects to the responsible project manager
• Contribute to the ongoing development of our calculation and bid processes

YOUR PROFILE

We imagine that you have a sharp financial and commercial mindset and are strong with numbers, and that you can quickly understand the economics of a construction project as easily as you can see where the risk lies. You are structured and good with processes, and you can keep an overview of several bids and deadlines at the same time without losing sight of the detail.

You are good with people and relationships, communicate professionally with both customers, colleagues and partners, and you work independently, take responsibility and follow your tasks through to completion. You want to be involved in developing the way we work with bids and estimation.

It is an advantage if you are a trained carpenter with solid construction understanding, and that you have experience as a project manager, estimator or crafts assessor.
