In Tønder Municipality we have set the direction for future mobility. Now we are seeking an engaged colleague who can help us translate ambitions into concrete projects and solutions that make a difference.

As part of the Department of Planning, Rural and Urban Development you will enter an area characterized by dynamism and development. We are looking for a profile who can navigate the crossroads between technical knowledge and political insight, and who is not afraid to take responsibility for projects that make a real difference for citizens, visitors and business.

Your tasks will be many and varied - you will, among other things, become responsible for

• leading our new mobility plan
• shape future infrastructure through bicycle path planning and traffic safety projects
• handle everything from citizen inquiries and grant applications to political case preparation
• be involved in large, exciting agendas such as renewable energy installations, tourism development and the ongoing rollout of the Tønder Vision Plan.

You will work closely with professional colleagues, and your base will be in an environment where cross-disciplinary collaboration is highly valued.

Who are we?

You will be part of the Department of Planning, Rural and Urban Development with 20 engaged colleagues.

In the department we work, in addition to traffic and mobility, with a wide range of tasks. We work, among other things, with municipal and local planning, rural zone permits, settlement, rural development, urban development projects and other exciting development projects.

We are a workplace where we consult with each other and pull together to create value for everyone.

Organizationally you will be part of the professional leadership area Planning, Climate, Urban Development and Properties, which consists of the departments Climate, Nature and Area Development, Property Service Center and Planning, Rural and Urban Development.

Salary and employment terms

The position is permanent and full-time.

If you are invited to an interview, you will be informed of the salary framework for the position as part of the pay transparency rules. The final salary is set according to the applicable collective agreement and based on experience, competencies and relevant education.
