Kindergarten Stendalen is part of the Ullerupbæk district in Fredericia Municipality and consists of children aged 0-6 who are referred to a special offer, and a small group of children in ordinary kindergarten places aged 2-6.

A distinguishing feature of our child group is the need for an enhanced effort in relation to creating safe relationships and good participation opportunities for the individual and for the community.

We emphasize being a unified house, which among other things implies flexibility in moving around the house if the task requires it.

We believe that good everyday environments are the adults' responsibility. Therefore, we create frameworks for play, imagination and participation, so that all children have the opportunity to succeed together with others.

We prioritize a healthy working environment with a focus on the core task and on a collegial community, where there is room for laughter and humor.

In our staff group we have a solid and positive collegial collaboration, where we are professionally engaged and prioritize lifting the tasks together.

We make an effort with everyday life and children's friendships - even when the wind gusts challenge us. It is in the small, magical moments that life is shaped, and here you as a pedagogical assistant have a decisive role.

There are currently 25 employees linked to Stendalen, of whom most are trained pedagogues full-time. As a pedagogical assistant you will be attached to one room, should be able to help in the whole house and perform practical tasks related to lunch and mid-meals.

We are looking for two pedagogical assistants who

• are present, caring and engaged and want to actively participate in the children's daily life, which among other things includes being outside in all kinds of weather
• have the ability to look behind behavior and create a safe relationship as well as predictability for the individual child in close collaboration with your colleagues
• can work independently with a good overview and take responsibility for diverse tasks in daily life
• have good collaboration skills and can join and contribute to a collegial collaboration with an open and curious approach.

Salary and employment terms

In accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.

When employed, references will be obtained.

Criminal record

When employed, a criminal record will be obtained. The employment is conditional on the criminal record being free of any remarks of significance for the performance of the specific position.

Child welfare clearance

When employed in work involving children and young people, a child welfare clearance is obtained. The employment is conditional on a child welfare clearance without remarks.

Fredericia Municipality is a tobacco-free workplace.

There are two permanent positions of 37 hours per week.

Start as soon as possible or no later than January 1, 2027.
