Unclassified resident physician for the Department of General Psychiatry, North

We are seeking a junior resident physician for a position in the Department of General Psychiatry, North, with employment on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Who are we?

The Department of General Psychiatry consists of 7 wards, located in Brønderslev, Frederikshavn and Thisted, as well as outpatient clinics on all sites.

Communication is open, and there is close cooperation between the wards and with the department's management and other staff.

The position will be with service primarily in Frederikshavn.

The Department of General Psychiatry, North has training status for doctors together with Aalborg University Hospital, and receives medical students in clinical placements.

As mentioned, we place emphasis on a good working environment, where we focus on the balance between time and tasks.

You will join our 11-shift on-call team with on-site duties.

The department has an educational function for junior doctors and hosts medical students in clinical attachments, and you are also welcome to apply for an educational position with us.

• You have completed your KBU and perhaps also an introductory position.
• You have interest and competencies and a desire to further develop yourself within the psychiatric field.
• You are professionally engaged, motivated and good at collaborating.
• You have interest in the many varied tasks that arise in the interdisciplinary collaboration within your own sector, but also across sectors.

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the agreement between Danske Regioner and the Association of Specialist Doctors, depending on qualifications.

Education of students and apprentices is one of psychiatry's core tasks, to which all staff contribute.

In the North Jutland Region we have smoke-free working hours. This means that employees must not smoke during working hours, either indoors or outdoors.

Employment : 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is essentially fixed-term for 1 year, but with the possibility of extension.
