The world's perhaps best daycare center is looking for a pedagogue for the nursery

Would you like to help create a safe and developmentally rich everyday life for our youngest children? We are looking for an educator for our nursery group. The position is 35-37 hours, with start as soon as possible.

About the job and tasks

As we in the coming year will have more children in our nursery, we are looking for a committed and professionally curious educator who wants to become part of our pedagogical community and help create the best conditions for our children.

In daily work on the floor you will be close to the children and have the opportunity to work purposefully with their well-being, development, learning and formation. We work among other things in smaller groups of children, because we experience that this provides good opportunities to be present and to base on each individual child's needs, interests and development.

We have chosen to organize our nursery by age and maturity. We have three rooms, where two rooms have children from about 6 months to 2½ years, while the third room has children from about 2½ to 3½ years. This organization gives us good conditions to create presence, continuity and quality in the pedagogical work, and at the same time adapt our learning environments to the children's different development levels.

We are looking for you, who have the will and professional competencies to make a difference for our children. You, who see the big in the small moments that can create safe relations, and who have an eye for the fact that it is in everyday life and in close relationships that the foundation for the children's further development is laid.

As an educator you will also be an active part of our shared professional development. You will have the opportunity to contribute to developing, evaluating and qualifying our pedagogical practice and learning environments, based on the strengthened pedagogical curriculum.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement, with the possibility to negotiate qualification and job level pay.

You can choose between 35-37 hours yourself.

About us

Børnehuset Eventyrhaven is an integrated day-care institution with about 95 children, distributed across three kindergarten groups and three nursery groups, where one group functions as an intermediate group between nursery and kindergarten. We are located in Lindved, close to both school and city park.

We are lucky to have a large and inspiring outdoor play area, which provides the children with many opportunities for play, movement, immersion and exploration. Here we have, among other things, an area specially arranged for nursery children, a campfire house, bike paths, a multi-court, our own little forest, a shelter and workshop – and not least many different small and exciting play environments that invite various forms of play and communities.

Inside we also have good opportunities to create varied learning environments. In addition to our room groups we have, among other things, a motor room, a crafts workshop and several smaller play environments that the children can explore and use in different ways.

Eventyrhaven is a house in ongoing development, where we want to be curious about our own practice and continually become more skilled. We place great emphasis on close collaboration between colleagues and on us taking responsibility together for the pedagogical quality throughout the house.

We are focused on creating a shared pedagogical foundation, which we continually develop, evaluate and qualify. For us it is about creating the best possible development and learning environments for the children – and about always being curious about what we can do even better.
