We are seeking a professionally strong educator with broad special education knowledge and strong relational skills

C-track is for students from 0th to 9th grade with general and specific learning difficulties. Many of the students also have other challenges, for example ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, OCD, socio-emotional difficulties or limited verbal ability.

We are looking for a dedicated and professionally grounded educator who can step into a complex, but incredibly rewarding children’s community. With us you become part of a multidisciplinary team where we pull together and work purposefully to create safe, structured and pedagogical frameworks for our students.

About the position As a pedagogue at C-track, your primary task will be to support the students in both their academic, social and emotional development throughout the school day.

Your main tasks will be to

• Build and maintain sustainable, trusting relations with children with very diverse starting points.
• Plan and carry out special pedagogical activities and interventions tailored to the individual student’s needs.
• Create predictability, structure and safe, stable routines in a day that can quickly shift gears.
• Work with calming pedagogy and low-arousal-inspired approaches
• Enter into close and constructive collaboration with teachers, educators, parents and external partners.
• Reflect on own and shared practice and contribute actively to the pedagogical development work.

We expect that you

• Are a trained pedagogue and have solid theoretical and practical professionalism.
• Have knowledge of special pedagogy – preferably experience with target groups such as autism, ADHD, socio-emotional difficulties, etc.
• Master relationship skills – you are present, affirming, inclusive and able to maintain calm and an overview, even when the waves are high.
• Are clear and structured – you can set frameworks that create security for the child.
• Are a strong team player – you value sparring and understand the value of close multidisciplinary collaboration.
