Regional clinics in Region Midtjylland

The region has experience in operating several regional clinics. The clinics have been established to ensure medical coverage in areas where it can otherwise be difficult.

You will become part of an established structure with professional backing and administrative resources. Across the Regional Clinics Skjern, Skive and Thyholm, there is a daily manager and chief physician who work together to ensure high clinical standards, efficient organization, patient safety and a well-functioning work culture where both staff and patients thrive.

We actively work to ensure high quality medical assistance to citizens and a good working environment for you as a doctor. We value professional sparring, good cross-disciplinary collaboration and strong relationships with hospitals, municipalities and other practice clinics. In the daily schedules there is added time for patient administration and conferences.

You will have the opportunity for ongoing competence development and relevant continuing education as part of your employment process.

The Skjern Regional Clinic is today operated as a regional clinic with about 6,900 patients. The clinic is centrally located in the town of Skjern near the train and bus station. There are modern clinic facilities with consultation rooms for both doctors and nurses, a laboratory, treatment rooms and a shared secretariat. In addition to doctors, the clinic is staffed with practice personnel primarily nurses and social and health care assistants/medical secretaries as well as a physiotherapist.
