The Visitation Department in Hvidovre Municipality is seeking a new colleague who wants to join an exciting journey

If you are a visitation officer or have other relevant professional experience, we are looking for you for a permanent position of 32-37 hours/week from January 1, 2027, and preferably earlier. We are seeking a colleague with a health professional background and preferably experience from the public authority sector.

We are in the midst of an exciting time, where the new Elderly Act has come into force and is setting the direction for the future of elderly care. In Visitation, we are therefore looking for a colleague who will help translate the Elderly Act's intentions into practice. Will you contribute positively to the work of implementing holistic care under the Elderly Act with a focus on multidisciplinary collaboration, self-determination for the citizen, preventive initiatives, then we are the right place.

The Elderly Act is not just a new law - it has shifted the mindset. From control and fragmentation to trust, coherence and relationships. It requires courage for change and collaborative relationships in the public authority sector.

We share a building with Home Care and Nursing and we have built a close and integrated collaboration around the elder reform including fixed teams, common cross-disciplinary meetings and much more.
