Would you like to help make my daily life at the folk high school work?

I am a 24-year-old young woman from Copenhagen who uses an electric wheelchair and will attend a semester at Højskolen Mors from January 10 to June 19, 2027. The position is therefore temporary since I will move back to Copenhagen afterwards.

Right now I am completing my bachelor's degree in sociology, doing some volunteering about green transition, and looking forward to my semester at Mors.

Due to my cerebral palsy impairment I need an assistant in daily life to handle most of the everyday tasks.

I can walk with crutches and move myself, but I mostly move around in an electric wheelchair.

Your task is therefore to be physical assistance for everything from helping hand, cleaning and help with personal hygiene such as bathing and toilet visits. At night I need help turning over and possibly toilet visits, but these are overnight night shifts.

You will be part of a team of carers who cover all hours of the day.

There is therefore the possibility to apply for either full-time or part-time, as I am assembling a full team. Please include your preferences for shifts and number of hours in your application. Experience is not required and we will provide training ongoing.

You will be employed under the so-called BPA scheme via the company DUOS.

• Salary follows the applicable collective agreement (for example, evening/weekend allowances and on-call hours from 23:00 to 06:00).
• Workplace: Højskolen Mors. There may be trips outside the house, and it is therefore relevant whether you have a driver's license.
• Working hours: I am flexible regarding the planning of the duty roster and there is the possibility of 24-hour shifts. My suggestion for when exchanges occur is as follows:
• Weekdays: Day shift 08:00-16:00, afternoon 16:00-21:00 and night shifts 21:00-08:00.
• Weekends: Day 11:00-21:00 and night shifts 21:00-11:00.
