About the job

We are in the process of uniting EVU business and EVU administration into one common EVU team in the Education Services. With the new organization, we bring together competencies and create a tighter link between administration, data, business development and the strategic development of the area.

We have high ambitions for EVU and are therefore facing an exciting development of both collaboration forms, processes and task solving. At the same time, we must every day ensure stable and professional administration of our education and course programs. Therefore we are now looking for new colleagues with different professional profiles, where some mainly will work with guidance and case processing of recognition of prior learning (RPL), while others will to a greater extent work with our contract track.

Common is that you become part of one unified EVU team, where we work across and together create good solutions for students, businesses and our internal partners.

Your profile

We are looking for different profiles, and we therefore do not expect that you have experience with all tasks. You have a profile in guidance and case processing or a profile with qualifications in contract work as well as legal documents and processes.

The most important thing is that you are curious about the coherence around your own task and want to contribute to the development of our shared EVU area. You can recognize yourself in several of the following statements:

You have experience with or interest in contract work

, and you thrive on working with administration and processes. You like to review, prepare and quality-assure contracts, and at the same time ensure that the agreements align with our internal workflows. You want to be the link between law, finance and operations.

You have experience with or interest in working with recognition of prior learning and guidance.

You like to guide potential students about their possibilities for recognition of prior learning and to handle the subsequent case processing in the area.

You are communicatively strong and know how to solve a task within a given regulatory framework.

You are able to communicate clearly, precisely and in a welcoming manner to different target groups, both in writing and orally. At the same time, you know what it means to solve a task within a given set of rules.

You thrive with a varied task portfolio

and many working relationships. You can maintain an overview of many processes, and you are interested in familiarizing yourself with new subject areas and systems. At the same time you manage to create good and productive collaboration relationships with various actors, both internally and externally.

In addition, we expect that you have

  • knowledge of or interest in the education sector
  • a relevant education.

Your tasks

You will receive a task portfolio where operations, coordination and development go hand in hand. You do not necessarily have to work with all of the areas below. The weighting depends on your experience and professional profile. You can, for example, be given responsibility for:

Develop and quality-assure bids and contracts.

You must ensure consistency across contracts in collaboration with both internal and external partners. At the same time, you must check that agreements meet the financial framework as well as applicable legal requirements and guidelines. Finally, it is you who ensures that entered into agreements are complied with, communicates relevant information to partners, and handles any changes or deviations.

Guide and process applications within recognition of prior learning.

You guide potential students with very different backgrounds about their possibilities for recognition of prior learning, and you are afterward responsible for the case processing of the applications.

Develop processes.

You continuously develop work processes and documents in relation to your tasks. You do this in close collaboration with your colleagues in the team as well as internal and external partners. You actively contribute to the goal of creating coherence between administration, business development and strategic ambitions—even when it means you must change your own workflows or tools.

Your colleagues

You will become part of our new unified EVU team in Education Services. Here we gather competencies within administration, guidance, contracts, data and business development around Absalon’s continuing and higher education. We are about 20 employees with different professional backgrounds and experiences. We are in the process of creating our common ways of working and developing collaboration across, and as a new colleague you will also have the opportunity to influence how we solve tasks going forward.

We place emphasis on a strong sense of community where we share knowledge, help each other and take joint responsibility for the tasks. At the same time, we have an informal tone and appreciate a good laugh and a positive atmosphere in the office. There is an option for up to two days of remote work when it fits with the tasks and collaboration in the team.

Our common workplace is Campus Slagelse, located right next to Slagelse Station. Education Services consists of five teams and about 94 colleagues in total. In addition to EVU, Education Services handles admissions, study administration and guidance on Absalon’s professional bachelor and engineering programs. We are an informal department with high professionalism and many collaboration interfaces across Absalon. Absalon also offers a lunch scheme, access to a fitness center and an active staff association.
